Had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago can I receive pregnancy symptoms this early?

I had unprotected sex on june 28th and 29th, also on july 10th...my nipples are so sore and my boobs just started to get a little tender today..I have been crazy emotional for no reason nd I been eating alot !! Can someone give me some answers please ??

mostly not. symptoms usually take a little longer to start. when are you due for your next period? i would wait until you are a few days late before you take a test. try not to think about it and worry about it because the more you worry about it, the more you will get symptoms even if you aren't pregnant. so try not to worry and wait to see if you're late and then take a test. but if you don't want to be pregnant, make sure to use protection next time! good luck! What to Expect Pregnancy Planner

What to Expect Pregnancy Planner

$21.82

Introducing the newest addition to the WHAT TO EXPECT family: an indispensable "dateless" 42-week pregnancy planner and appointment-keeper for the wall that starts the day a woman discovers she's a mother-to-be and continues through delivery. Created by the authors of America's pregnancy bible with over ten million copies in print, this is the perfect place to record personal pregnancy dates and notes while keeping track of appointments, questions for the doctor, fetal movements, shopping lists, weight gain, and anything else. A 10" x 10" wire-o-bound grid, the conveniently sized planner will hang in the office, kitchen, bedroom, or wherever it's needed. It covers 42 weeks (the usual 40-week gestation period, plus two extra weeks in case baby arrives late), displaying two weeks on each page. Weeks 1 to 22 are on the front pages. Then flip the entire calendar for weeks 23 to 42 on the back. Not only are the dates left to be filled in, but the days are, too. So if Day One for a woman is a Wednesday, that becomes the lead-off day on the grid. The planner is illustrated throughout with full-color watercolors by Judith Cheng and packaged in a decorative gift box, The WHAT TO EXPECT PREGNANCY PLANNER is a must-have for every expecting woman. Reassuring tips and advice appear on every page.

Accurate Pregnancy Test Strip Question...I'm not asking if I'm pregnant.?

I bought pregnancy tests online - super cheap...$12 for 12...It's supposed to be the same type doctors use...the strips that can detect 20 hcg 99% accuracy! Well for my last pregnancy (daughter is 1 year now)
I tested everyday up to my period and got a negative result...the day after my missed period I tested again and got my positive result...
So my question is if they're 99% accurate at 20hcg than how come it didn't show up until after my missed period? Has anyone used these strips? If so were they accurate for you?
Baby Dust to all!

:O)

Very few home pregnancy tests will test positive before your missed period. This is because the HCG hormone isn't high enough before then (with your baby being less than 1 mm big), so even though you are pregnant it wouldn't show up before you're missed period. Message me if you have further questions.

im upset abt being a female....were too unlucky?

Plz help. i wana kill myself. plz open n answer?
im 15 i didnt have sex but i was making out with my bf. and was wearing an underwear at all times but nothing else. he was jus kissing my body and stuff but there is a chance (since he wasnt wearing an underwear) his sperm might have got in contact with my underwear a little bit. because he jacked off between my legs n his sperm was all over my legs. i have nobody to talk to. pl help . could i be pregnant? i went to walmart got a pregnancy test kit and it said i wasnt pregnant but im still scared. btw im a virgin. but i have some signs of pregnancy like gained weight...im also close to my period.

1. is it possible to get pregnant if ur wearing an underwear ?
2 if i get my period does that mean im not pregnant 100%? i had sex 2 weeks ago and my periods due in one week

Sweety, if you were wearing underwear, doesn't matter how thin they were, you can't get pregnant from him just jacking off outside you. So don't stress.

If you get your period, it doesn't meant you're not pregnant 100%, but it is super unlikely that you're pregnant. But it is known for women to be pregnant, and have their periods remain through the entire pregnancy. If you had sex two weeks ago, and it was protected sex. (Either you're on the pill, or a condom was used) then it is unlikely you're pregnant. However, if you didn't use protection, then there is a higher chance you're pregnant.

But hun, try not to stress, because when women become stressed it can cause our periods to be delayed. Which will make you think you're pregnant, which will further stress you out. Its a vicious circle lol. Also you're still young so your period is probably pretty irregular. So, don't stress, wait until you're a week late, then take a test. I'm sure you're fine. Remember, no stressing!
Good luck.

Gaby had ambitions that didn`t include becoming a young mother. But she wondered: how she would be perceived if she "lived down" to others expectations about the path her life would take? This question is what sparked Gaby`s school project: fake her own pregnancy as a high school senior and see how her friends, family, and community reacts. What she learned changed her life forever. In THE PREGNANCY TEST, Gaby shares her experience growing up in the shadow of low expectations, reveals how she was able to fake her own pregnancy, and reveals all that she learned from the experience.

Authors Melissa Heckscher and Dr. Emily Sikking test readers’ knowledge of everything from fetal development to labor and delivery—and along the way, you’ll learn why pregnant women should stay off roller coasters and go easy on caffeine.  The perfect gift for new moms (and a terrific refresher course for seasoned veterans), The Pregnancy Test answers everything you’ve ever wondered while expecting.

Is it possible to feel pregnancy symptoms before the hormone is picked up on the home urine test?

Is this possible? Isn't it the hormone that makes you feel nauseous, tired, etc.? So, if there isn't enough hormone in your body yet for the test to pick up on, then there can't be enough hormone in your body yet to cause symptoms, right? Can anyone clear this up?

You summed it up really but that slight hormone change can make your body feel a lot of weird things, for example...headaches, dizziness, tender breasts, these are all caused by a shift in hormones so you may well feel these before the test can pick it up (Some are not too sensitive anyways) or it could be impending period as this is also a shift in the hormones.

Bleeding During Pregnancy (Paperback)

Bleeding During Pregnancy (Paperback)

$45.1

The phenomenon of bleeding has been shown to appear in up to 22% of all pregnancies and is associated with significant maternal and fetal morbidities, and even mortality. Although vaginal bleeding occurs mainly during the first trimester, it can appear at any stage of pregnancy and in the postpartum period. This sometimes life-threatening event requires an extensive work-up in order to recognize its cause and establish a rapid and effective therapeutic approach. This book is a comprehensive appraisal of this critical condition. It draws on evidence-based data and brings together, in a single volume, updated information on all aspects of pregnancy-related bleeding. A global group of interdisciplinary experts contributed chapters on: bleeding during early pregnancy (early pregnancy loss, ectopic pregnancy, gestational trophoblastic disease, and cancer of the reproductive tract during pregnancy); bleeding in late pregnancy (preterm delivery, placental abruption, placenta previa, vasa previa and uterine rupture); and postpartum hemorrhage.

Nausea

Nausea

$51.97

Nausea is a complex sensation that results from the interaction of certain fixed biological factors, such as gender, with changeable psychological factors, such as anxiety. This is the first book to provide a complete, in-depth explanation of what we know about nausea, along with the latest research results on its causes and treatment. As it is the product of long-term collaboration between scientists from the three main approaches to studying and treating nausea--psychology, gastroenterology, and physiology--the information this book provides is both comprehensive and well integrated. The book is divided into two parts, on mechanisms and management, respectively, and four sections. The chapters in Section I introduce the concept of nausea as a protective control mechanism with individual dynamic thresholds, explain the function of nausea, review past and present conceptions of nausea, and describe the prevalence of nausea in different conditions. Section II includes four basic chapters that review what is known about the physiological bases of nausea. Other chapters explore the roles of the central nervous system, autonomic nervous system, endocrine system, and gastric dysrhythmias. Section III presents the difficult problem of measuring nausea, with chapters focusing on measuring nausea in humans and studying it in animals. Section IV forms the second part of the book, on the management of nausea. The main chapters cover nausea and its treatment in several conditions, including chronic nausea, diabetes, pregnancy, post-operative, cancer and its treatment, and provocative motion. A final chapter discusses future research, including three preliminary studies of novel treatment approaches.

How soon after delivery can I get an IUD? 10 points!?

I'm 26 weeks pregnant with my second child. I'm having a repeat cesarean a week before my due date as long as everything goes well, due to my gestational diabetes, and also because I've already had ones and had complications the first time around. Anyways, do I have to wait until my 6 weeks postpartum checkup to get an IUD? Or can they put on in during my cesarean? I'd think I'd have to wait since my uterus has to shrink back down and I have to heal from the cesarean, I just want to be sure. Has anyone had an IUD? How is it performed? How did it feel? Have you had any problems or side effects? Did you get pregnant while you had it? Thank you, 10 points to person who answers all my questions!

an IUD works by irritating the lining of the uterus preventing implantation of a fertilized egg. therefore they will not put one in during or immediately after your Cesarean section. You must be completely healed first, then the doctor will insert one vaginally, there is some discomfort and pressure when he inserts it, once in place you don't feel anything. No, I never did get pregnant while the IUD was in place, but I had it removed after six months of incredibly heavy and painful periods.

The Global Biopolitics of the Iud (Hardcover)

The Global Biopolitics of the Iud (Hardcover)

$24.73

The intrauterine device (IUD) is used by 150 million women around the world. It is the second most prevalent method of female fertility control in the global South and the third most prevalent in the global North. Over its five decades of use, the IUD has been viewed both as a means for women`s reproductive autonomy and as coercive tool of state-imposed population control, as a convenient form of birth control on a par with the pill and as a threat to women`s health. In this book, Chikako Takeshita investigates the development, marketing, and use of the IUD since the 1960s. She offers a biography of a multifaceted technological object through a feminist science studies lens, tracing the transformations of the scientific discourse around it over time and across different geographies. Takeshita describes how developers of the IUD adapted to different social interests in their research and how changing assumptions about race, class, and female sexuality often guided scientific inquiries. The IUD, she argues, became a "politically versatile technology," adaptable to both feminist and nonfeminist reproductive politics because of researchers` attempts to maintain the device`s suitability for women in both the developing and the developed world. Takeshita traces the evolution of scientists` concerns, from contraceptive efficacy and product safety to the politics of abortion and describes the most recent, hormone-releasing, menstruation-suppressing iteration of the IUD. Examining fifty years of IUD development and use, Takeshita finds a microcosm of the global political economy of women`s bodies, health, and sexuality in the history of this contraceptive device.
