What do you think...if you have a lot of pregnancy symptoms early on (3-4 weeks) is there a better chance the baby will "stick"? I am 4 weeks and 2 days, and have had extremely sore bbs since 7 days before my period was due, plus light nausea, extreme sensitivity to smells, and I am way hungrier than normal and can eat a lot more than I usually can. I got a positive test 2 days before my period was due.

I found out at 4 weeks that I was pregnant and had nausea, aversion to smells, sore boobs, and was tired ALL the time...I then miscarried at 5 weeks. I have 2 children already and will tell you that I had the same symptoms with all three pregnancies...I am not trying to scare you but about 50% of all pregnancies end up in miscarriage...but if you are really scared you should talk to your doctor about getting you HCG levels checked. If the numbers keep doubling every 2 or 3 days...that is a good sign, if your HCG numbers go down (prior to 12 weeks)...you will miscarry. I am sure you will be fine though...Good Luck and lots of baby dust to you!!!

It is impossible to obtain facts about the soul. I believe that your soul is developed over time. I believe that at conception you have a soul. I don't think that it is dependent on the sperm and egg, for God knew you before you were born. Identical twins do not have copies of the same soul, nor do conjoined twins. This is obvious if you have ever known identical twins. They can be very different. I don't know about twins with one brain and two bodies.

Is there anyone who got pregnant straight after a miscarriage?

Without waiting for a period? I just had a miscarriage and I want to try again ASAP. I know there is no medical evidence to show that there is a higher risk in getting pregnant without waiting for a period first and the way I see it is my body wouldn't ovulate if it wasn't ready to support a pregnancy.

First of all I am very sorry for your loss and understand completely about how you are feeling having been through a similar experience.

Personally I chose to ignore medical advice when they said I should go back on some form of contraception, I believe this was mainly for the emotional effects of the miscarriage rather then for health reasons.

My partner and I felt the same as you and wanted to try again asap, we figured nature would take its course, 'what will be, will be' and all that. I think I got caught pregant about 3 weeks later and am so far 15 weeks pregnant with that pregnancy and everything is going really well so far.

My mum in law once watched a programme that said sometimes it is good to get pregnant again straight after a loss as your body is already somewhat prepared for a pregnancy.

You will get lots of people telling you not to get pregnant straight away, your body may not be ready, you may not be emotionally ready but only you know how you feel. If this is what feels right to you then go for it.

I will say that whenever you next get pregnant, you will be scared stupid for the first 12 weeks until you get to that first scan, and to be honest you will still be worried every now and again (if you're anything like me) but I think everything happens for a reason.

I wish you all the luck in the world whatever you decide to do.

I have a baby book with all of the keepsakes I want to have for memories. I have the first t shirt they put him in, his little cap, hospital bands and umbilical cord stump. They are arranged like a scrapbook with his birth certificate and footprints. Well also on that page, I have a picture of my pregnant belly and attached to that is the first pregnancy test I took that said positive. I don't see anything wrong with that, but several people who have looked at it comment on how gross it is. What do you think? Is that too nasty for a baby book?
I put it in a bag and sealed it with my laminater machine so I don't think the bacteria would get in it, besides it is over a year old, so surely if there was bacteria it would be dead by now lol.
