Whether it`s been three months or three years since you`ve been trying, the more complicated and overwhelming the process becomes. The Conception Chronicles shares candid humor, hold-nothing-back banter and practical advice on everything that goes along with trying to start a family: from dealing with your fertile friends to the battery of tests you may have to face; from surviving "sex on demand" to navigating the ins and outs of high-tech fertility treatments. I need emergency emotional help. I've called suicide hotlines and gone to the hospital but they just give me numbers to call for financial assistance.
I'm going to court tomorrow for a failure to pay rent due to my roomie moving out in the middle of the month without paying rent and stealing all the money I had to pay rent. I only make enough to pay half of the rent and can not come up with the extra rent. I have posted the room for rent and gone to; social services, charities, and churches without assistance so far. I thought I was living my life right by helping people when they needed it and giving my roomie a second chance living with me while on parole as a sex offender. I knew her for a year before she took my rent money and moved out, she was flighty before but I would never do this to someone so didn't think she would. I'm pregnant and alone with no family that can help and friends that say they don't have room for me. I've called shelters and am on a waiting list.

A cop-turned-coach takes youth from gang-ridden streets to the gridiron From the author of Irish Thunder comes the true story about the collision of violent crime and high school football in a tough New England town. Friday Night Lights meets Boyz n the Hood in this book about a football coach-also a cop on the gang beat-who pulls kids off the streets and puts them on the field with a combination of kindness and intimidation. In Breakdown (whose title alludes to a pregame psyche-up ritual), Bob Halloran gets inside the life-or-death struggles of student athletes from the Bloods, Crips, MS-13s, and Latin Kings in Chelsea, Massachusetts--the Boston area`s cruelest city. While exploring the anger, fear, and violence of these young men, he follows the Chelsea Red Devils as they vie for a championship and the players try making football their way out. Meanwhile, tough-love coach James Atkins serves as a cop in the Chelsea Police Department`s Gang Unit, asking for his players` blood, sweat, and tears on the field . . . and hoping their blood doesn`t spill off it. Will football be their way to a better life, or will street life forever haunt them?

Should I move if my boyfriend is going to dump me anyways?
my boyfriend and I have been together for a little over 2 years. He is alot older than me. He takes me on vacation a lot and we go to great places. We have had sex about every single day since we met. I even became pregnant but lost my pregnancy a year and a half ago because he did not want it. He always says I am annoying and teases me. He jokes alot but I can not tell if he is joking or serious and the jokes are extrememly rude and hurtful. He always makes me feel like he does not want to date me. I told him I want to move out of state to start my life over if he is not going to date me. He says he thinks we should just take a break. then when i told him i want to move to phoenix he says do it, ill help you move, i want you to be happy with your life. I want to move to phoenix az, from portland or, it rains alot here and is cold. BTW, I am unemployed, struggling not many jobs in oregon, no family here, no friends other than my bf.

Can someone give me a list of first-trimester pregnancy symptoms?
My sister says she's pregnant but I don't believe her (the reason is because she lies a lot, and she's lied about being pregnant before)
Can someone please give me a list of first-trimester pregnancy symptoms?
I want to see if what she says she's experiencing match up with real pregnancy symptoms.
I can't see it, as I don't live in the same state (we talk on webcam though) & she says she had a blood test (don't they give you results on paper for that though?)

Cramping, pelvic pain, back and leg pain in the thrid trimester of pregnancy?
I am a little over 32 weeks pregnant, and the last 24 hours I have been in a lot of pain. It started when I got up from bed and had shooting pains in my pelvic area when I tried to walk. These aren't constant, and go away after a while but then come back again. I started having to walk sort of hunched over as that eases the pain which is now causing my leg muscles to cramp up. In addition to this, my lower back is really hurting and I am getting bad period like cramps which have been constant for over 24 hours now.
I really don't want to have to go to my doctor, as I am afraid she will put me on bed rest and I really don't want that. Has anyone else gone through this or know why this is happening?
RED FLAG. Get your pregnant butt in! Anytime you have pelvic pain that lasts longer then an hour with period like cramps, YOU NEED TO GO IN! I remember the pelvic pain after getting up, and I remember some of the cramps, but NO WAY did I ever let it go on more then 2 hours before deciding to take a trip in. You need to go get CHECKED OUT! Pregnancy Health Information : What Causes Leg Cramps in Pregnancy?
The phenomenon of bleeding has been shown to appear in up to 22% of all pregnancies and is associated with significant maternal and fetal morbidities, and even mortality. Although vaginal bleeding occurs mainly during the first trimester, it can appear at any stage of pregnancy and in the postpartum period. This sometimes life-threatening event requires an extensive work-up in order to recognize its cause and establish a rapid and effective therapeutic approach. This book is a comprehensive appraisal of this critical condition. It draws on evidence-based data and brings together, in a single volume, updated information on all aspects of pregnancy-related bleeding. A global group of interdisciplinary experts contributed chapters on: bleeding during early pregnancy (early pregnancy loss, ectopic pregnancy, gestational trophoblastic disease, and cancer of the reproductive tract during pregnancy); bleeding in late pregnancy (preterm delivery, placental abruption, placenta previa, vasa previa and uterine rupture); and postpartum hemorrhage.

Type 1 diabetes is a serious and common disease, afflicting one per 200 of the population worldwide. It is widely believed to cause harmful physical maldevelopment--congenital malformations--and other consequences in the unborn children of women with the disease. This book considers the history of the disease in pregnant women and this belief that it causes anomalies since the time of the discovery of insulin in 1921, and presents a profound and critical appraisal of the subject of its supposed prenatal harmfulness.
