How do to find baby book where you can put in pics and things from pregnancy?
Every baby book I've looked at only goes from birth on...we want a book that you can put in ultrasound pics, memories from the pregnancy, etc.
Do you have to basically make on of those on your own out of a scrapbook kit?
One idea for a customized baby book is to create a scrapbook digitally then have it printed as a photo book by a photo service.
For example, you could scan your ultrasound pictures and upload them, along with other pictures, to CropMom at http://www.cropmom.com. CropMom is an online scrapbooking site where you can use your own photos and decorate the pages using CropMom's graphics. There is a kit called All About Baby that has some good baby graphics. So does Visit from the Stork. This way, you can personalize each page and include only the things you want to include. You're not beholden to whatever a book publisher decides is important.
Make 20 pages, then purchase the print-quality JPEG files of your layouts and download them. Now, find a photo service like Shutterfly or Snapfish, and use the layouts to create a photo book.
I like the 8" by 8" hardcover photo books at Snapfish that come with a glossy dust jacket. If you choose that size, make sure you make your layouts on the 8" by 8" canvas size. If you want a bigger book, try the 12" by 12" book, and use the 12" by 12" canvas size at CropMom.

If Twins run in the woman's family, then you have a chance of having Twins. I've heard it skips a generation, but the reality is sometimes it does not skip a generation.
From the looks of the Twins gene in your family tree, you've got a really good chance of having Twins.
No matter what people say, there's no hard and fast rule you can rely on. If the gene is in your family it can happen at any time. By the way, Twins are great! I hope things go well for you. Take care of yourself.

Does early pregnancy discharge look like ovulation discharge?
Ive been having some discharge. I was wondering if when you are pregnant it looks the same as it does when you ovulate. Trying the natural family planning method this time and think it might have worked.
Any info would be apprecitated.
I have had three successful pregnancies and with all three of them I had a very light period the first month. But not everyone is the same and if you know that you are for infact pregnant and have a discharge, I would get checked by your doctor to make sure everything is okay for you and the baby. Actually that is how I knew I was pregnant because my cycle was so differant. Really light; maybe 3 days of little more than a discharge and very little bright red like a normal period. Good Luck!

In the past decade, the perspective of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) as a benign condition limited to pregnancy has evolved into a disease with significant implications for both mother and fetus. As such, it has become a condition relevant to medical specialties beyond obstetrics. Research on the pathophysiology and clinical management of women and children with GDM has increased dramatically, however postpartum management of women with GDM and their offspring still remains less covered by research and clinicians. Research is currently being conducted (in the HAPO study) with results available in early 2008 that are expected to further inform the field about the definition of diagnostic criteria of GDM that are related to their ability to predict perinatal complications. Simultaneously, from the clinical perspective, issues regarding diagnosis and management of GDM during pregnancy have been informed by recent information from clinical trials. Recently released information from the Human Genome Project on the location of diabetes genes is expected to inform the search for GDM loci. Finally, implications for postpartum diabetes prevention and glucose intolerance have also emerged, mainly from epidemiologic data, which suggest specific reshaping of policy for postpartum mothers. To date however, this information has not been consolidated into a single source and GDM information has been limited to a single chapter in various textbooks of diabetes. I know that I will go soon, even if I last 3 more weeks it can't possibly go longer than that, but I am getting so antsy! I am sooo ready for this to be over... I may be in the home stretch but it is dragging out, the rest of the pregnancy flew by and now I am going nuts!

Each pregnancy and labor are different. Really no way to predict when your labor will start. It gets really hard at the end when you are feeling miserable and just want to meet your new little baby. The best advice I can offer is to carry on with your normal daily activities and try not to think about when labor will start. Find a project to do that will keep you engrossed or take the time out to do something relaxing for yourself. Maybe spend some extra special time with your first daughter before the new baby arrives. Go see a movie you really want to see or do something you like to do that will be difficult to do with a newborn to care for. Maybe even plan a little something each day to look forward to. Another piece of advice is to mentally change your due date to 1-2, even 3 weeks later. Tell yourself that baby isn't due until that date so you won't be disappointed if you go overdue. And remember, your actual due date is just a guess based on averages, your baby doesn't have a calendar hanging up on the inside of your womb so he/she doesn't know when that magical date is.
Oh, and I have some online friends who have gone to 45 weeks. Some babies just take longer than others and that's just another variation of normal.

Almost 36 weeks, been sent to labor & delivery twice in the last 2 weeks?
Ill be 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I've been sent to labor & deliver twice for high blood pressure and swelling. I'm not dialated and baby is actually still pretty high. My doctor said I'd be lucky to make it to 39 weeks without them saying its time to have this baby. They're worried about preeclampsia but every time I go to the hospital my blood pressure eventually goes down and my tests come back normal and I get sent home. Should I let them induce me early if they say or should I fight to keep him in there till he wants to come out? This is my first pregnancy so idk what to do.
If your doctor says its time to induce its the safest thing for both you and baby. Proclaimsa is nothing to mess with. Try to stay relaxed and rested to keep blood pressure under control and hopefully you can make it to your due date.
Being induced at 36-39 weeks is early but allot of babies are fully developed by week 37. So your not that far off so I wouldn't worry to to much!
